Lyra City isn't like your average city. Here everyone lived and went while trying to mind their own business. Brothels, restaurants, shops, and everything you can imagine sits here. People come and go and with them, hidden in illusions and a facade of deception, are the Pokemons. Through years of mental training and hardening, these once benevolent creatures had evolved into a beast of vengeance and madness. Mad, for their once thought of as a friend to turn on them and hunt them down for fun. Their jealousy in their ancestors turned some to seek out the companionship of humans rather than their own kin and soon half-human and half-pokemon beings known as "gijinkas" got mixed in with the two species. Now under the veil of a human, the Pokemons walk the Earth knowing they are finally protected and loved on. But there's some humans who can see through their illusion, and not all of them are kind. Aristocrats, wealthy humans born of nobility, seek to destroy the very essence of Pokemon by legalizing Pokemon hunting. To expand it they give out monetary awards to the ones who can bring in the most or the rarest of Pokemons. Often this lead to quarrels between some of the Pokemon-loving humans and the money-hungry hunters. On the other hand, the gijinkas had come up with their own plan to rise above the rest...
